ShowBadger is a badge scanning app for event organisers to offer lead retrieval services to their exhibitors and/or for scanning badges to access an event or sub-event.
In "exhibitor mode", the app owner scans an attendee badge and the scanner groups details are automatically emailed to the attendee by ShowBadger systems. The person scanning will not see the attendees email address at this point.
The attendee receives the scanners contact information and is asked what information they would like to be shared with the group who scanned them (i.e. the exhibitor at the show). At the end of each day each exhibitor will receive an excel file of all the attendees theyve scanned and all the information the attendees have allowed to be shared with them. The event organiser also receives a summary of all the scans done by everyone for metrics gathering.
In door mode the app allows the event organiser to set the list of barcodes that will be allowed access or alternatively the badges that are not allowed access. At the end of the day the event organiser receives a summary email of how many badges were scanned to help gather metrics of attendance.
